The traveling tour, which will visit all 31 NHL markets throughout 2017 will reach all seven Canadian markets before December 31, including a stop in Ottawa on Dec 16 for the 2017 Scotiabank NHL100 ClassicTM.

Mitsubishi Electric Begins Mass-producing Auto Industry’s First Crankshaft ISG System for 48V Hybrid Vehicles

Mitsubishi Electric announced today that it has begun mass-producing the auto industry’s first crankshaft-mounted integrated starter-generator (ISG) system for 48V hybrid vehicles, which will be mounted in Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The system will be exhibited during 45th Tokyo Motor Show 2017 at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition complex from October 27 to November 5.

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation Develops Breakthrough In-Car Vehicle Monitoring System

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation has announced that it has developed a breakthrough in-vehicle driver monitoring system that has the capability to monitor two people- the driver and the front seat passenger. The system uses one wide-angle camera to simultaneously detect both people for added safety. It is expected that the technology will be available commercially from 2018. Mitsubishi Electric will be showcasing the new driver monitoring system during the 45th edition of the Tokyo Motor Show that is scheduled to be held at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition complex in Tokyo from October 27 to November 5.

Mitsubish Electric Tests QZSS-Based Autonomous Vehicles

Mitsubishi Electric announced it began field-testing autonomous driving technology on highways using a Centimeter-Level Augmentation Service (CLAS) broadcast from the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS). The company will conduct driving tests to verify the possibility of infrastructural driving, using CLAS signals and high-precision 3D maps combined with Mitsubishi Electric’s sensing technologies such as millimeter-wave radar and cameras.

The exhibits will include FLEXConnect.AI, a next generation infotainment platform; MMS-G220, the latest Mitsubishi Mobile Mapping System (MMS); and EMIRAI 3.1 xDAS Concept Car featuring advanced driver assistance technologies.
