Business is heating up for one of Pittsburgh’s biggest advertising agencies. Brunner Inc. was awarded Mitsubishi Electric’s $10 million advertising account for the Suwanee, Ga.-based home energy giant’s cooling and heating division. It was the largest piece of business won by the downtown Pittsburgh-based agency so far this year, CEO Michael Brunner confirmed.
Brunner Inc. will be responsible for driving the division’s overall marketing communications, strategy and planning, creative and media planning and buying as well as becoming agency of record. This will include supporting Mitsubishi’s national integrated marketing campaign including media, TV advertising, content creation, and social media. The agency’s work will likely start appearing in early 2016 as it helps the client to evolve and expand its current campaign, “Make Comfort Personal,” to increase brand awareness and build momentum for new product launches.
“It’s a good win and when it’s all said and done, there could be at least five hires, maybe more,” Brunner said.
“Mitsubishi’s search began about five months ago and the review included seven agencies.
